GIE MBAAR Production

Gie Mbaar production logo.JPG

The GIE MBAAR Production group, based in Richard-Toll in the Saint-Louis region, is a community-based organization committed to the production and processing of local agricultural products, including cereals, rice, milk, fruits, and vegetables. It works to empower women and youth economically by facilitating access to technical training, modern equipment, financing, and income-generating activities.

Through the establishment of processing units (fortified flour, semolina, pasta, yogurt, cheese), the group contributes to the development of local value chains, the reduction of post-harvest losses, and improved incomes.

The organization also conducts awareness campaigns on health, literacy, the environment, and climate change, thereby contributing to the sustainable development and food security of its community.
